For our costumer, we are looking for a Senior Platform Developer (m/f/d) with Cloud & DevOps Know How.

Fulltime

80% remote, 20% Berlin / Frankfurt am Main

Tasks:

- Ensure the successful design, rollout, and continuous improvement of a centralized development platform that supports scalable and efficient engineering

- Improve overall delivery speed by optimizing engineering workflows, increasing automation, and leveraging modern technologies.

- Provide architectural and operational oversight to identify, assess, and resolve technical risks or delivery issues

Requirements:

- You are a senior level developer with experience in platform development with proven skills and extensive experience
- 10+ years of experience in in software development in large scale complex projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of project management processes and quality assurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, agile and scrum methodologies,
- Experience with tests automation and frameworks/tools in CI/CD pipelines,
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation,
- Test automation of infra
- Proven track record as a principal engineer

Must-have experience
- Deep knowledge from developing cloud in either private or public cloud environments
- CD/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of operations of infrastructure in a large scale cloud environment
- Understanding of cloud platform and the building blocks
- Experience in observability, performance monitoring, and improving customer experience
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, DevOps practices, and IAM/RBAC principles and the associated
observability solutions
- Competence in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with the essentials of CI/CD pipeline management, including build, image registry, vulnerability scanning,
and deployment processes.
- Experience with building infra using open source tech and associated tools like terraform, helm, etc.

Must-have language skills:
Fluent English in speech and writing (at least C1)
